The list of speakers is impressive. But you have left out Heads of Ministry and Department who hold the key to fight corruption. You see, they are the fist line of defense. If they do not approve the figures for the contracts and other expenses nothing moves. In my view they hold the key to fighting corruption in Malaysia. They have all the information and they must be part of the team you have assembled.

    Dear Thumb Logic

Please come to the forum and extend the invite to your friends and colleagues.
We’re hoping to spread the anti-corruption movement among the public so that
they are aware of the mechanisms that are being put in place and can suggest
measures they think can be more effective in Malaysia.

We’re also inviting the relevant departments/agencies but it’s not possible to
include all the Ministry and Department Heads. I believe PEMANDU, IIM and MACC
are reaching out to them and their staff at other forums

    Ninitalk,

Sorry, the Heads of Ministry and Department hold the keys to this issue. They are the ones with all the information and even the MACC is dependent on them to provide information before prosecution can begin. Your invitation to the man-on-the-street to participate is well intended. But frankly, we can do very little because we are outside the loop.

TL Man – sorry I did not delete your comment. I must have forgotten to approve it.
My point is the PCORE forum is a public forum aimed at increasing public awareness,
so the target group are ordinary members of the public. We have extended the invitation
to the relevant agencies and departments. Heads of Departments and their personnel are
continously involved in integrity/anti-corruption workshops and forums.

TL – hope to see you and your friends and associates speaking up at a public forum. Please RSVP
